Washington’s Birthday Weekend

February

Get ready to have some fun with your fellow Nature Friends in the snow. The themed, friendly competition between teams will sure to work up your appetite get you ready for happy hour. This holiday weekend is reserved for members and their guests.

MLK Weekend

March

Wax those skis and snowboards for winter sport weekend. This holiday weekend is reserved for members and their guests.

Heidelmann Trophy Race

March

Since 1957, this official slalom ski race held at Donner Ski Ranch has been the event to prepare for all year. Trophies and medals are awarded by age bracket. Kids are especially encouraged and the over 50 set is very competitive.

Non-skiers can snowshoe (or maybe walk) to the course.

Summit Fest

July

Depending upon attendance, there’s a good chance of a softball game with a hot dog lunch. Whatever the activities end up being, Saturday always ends with a backyard BBQ and happy hour at the lodge. This weekend is reserved for members and their guests.

Labor Day Work Weekend

September

Help us get the lodge ready for winter! This is our annual heavy-duty work weekend. Lunch is provided, and a swim at Donner lake invites at the end of each day.

New Year’s Eve

When is the last time you played spoons, musical chairs, or watched a fire works show from your front yard? Those are just some of the fun happenings over New Years at Heidelmann. This holiday weekend is reserved for members and their guests.
