Saturday May 31, 2025, 9am morning muster followed by the usual work, hike, community dinner, singalong and more.

Sunday morning cinnamon rolls, town hall, more work and community lunch.

The weekend works better if the tasks are preassigned and expectations are set in advance. Lots of work to complete. And it will be FUN!

Labor Day weekend only – Saturday participation counts as one workday credit for prospective members.

Other Heidelmann workdays may count towards membership as well – pending board approval.

June 9 through June 16, 2025 – The Lodge will be closed to visitors for kitchen stove renovation.

Entire month of September, 2025 – The Lodge will be closed to visitors. 

In September, we will remove the remaining linseed oil from the exterior of the building using shell blasting. We have hired a contractor to complete this work. (Previously, members sanded the walls with orbital sanders, but that method proved highly inefficient, so we’re opting for shell blasting this time.) Blasting will begin in early September. While the work is underway, the Lodge will be closed to everyone for the entire month. We will wrap the furniture on the main floor and in the dorms in 6 mil plastic and cover all the windows with plywood. The Lodge will remain open to workers only.
